Never, ever use get() on an admin list view. I always use paginate(50) or cursorPaginate(100). Pagination forces the database to limit the results returned to the server, drastically reducing the memory consumption on your 512MB VPS. Without pagination, the server attempts to load the entire dataset into memory, which creates a dreaded out-of-memory (OOM) error.
3. Create Indexes on Frequently Queried Columns

React requires a massive 42KB+ JavaScript bundle to load before the dashboard is even usable. On the other hand, Alpine.js weighs just 8KB gzipped and integrates natively with Blade templates. When you are on a shared hosting plan, that extra 40KB of client-side JavaScript creates a slower Time to First Byte and eats up bandwidth.
For the AURETHE jewelry platform, I deliberately used Blade + Alpine.js for the admin dashboard. The owner needed to update order statuses, verify payment screenshots, and upload product images. None of these actions required complex client-side routing. By using Alpine.js, the admin panel loads instantaneously, and the interactive "Approve Payment" buttons work beautifully with server-side Livewire or simple HTTP requests.
Section 3: The Security Layer (Policies and Middleware)
A high-performance dashboard is also a secure dashboard. I frequently see developers skip authorization checks to save processing power, which is a disaster waiting to happen.
I always use Laravel Policies. For example, if an admin tries to delete a product, the code should not just check if they are an admin; it should check if they own the resource or if they have the role to delete it.
